“We’ll be able to buy the house we want!”A young Montérégie resident wins $ 1,000,000 with Lotto 6/49
Montréal, March 28, 2025 — A Montérégie resident in his thirties, Gabriel Fredette, won $1,000,000 in the March 12 Lotto 6/49 draw with a ticket he bought on the Loto-Québec gaming website. When he found out he’d won, he immediately announced the excellent news to his spouse, telling her their dream of buying a house could soon come true!
Highlights
- Fredette purchases a Lotto 6/49 ticket every week. For the past few years, he’s been buying them online.
- The day after the draw, he was having a coffee while checking his emails when he saw one announcing that he’d won $1,000. Thrilled with this win, he took a closer look at the email and thought he saw $100,000. After checking for the third time, he realized that he’d actually won $1,000,000! He also confirmed the information by logging into his account on the Loto-Québec website.
- Fredette hurried to share the news with his spouse. “Marie, I won $1,000,000! We'll be able to buy the house we want!” he told her. The couple would love to buy a small farm to have some animals.
